| Dunham Tool precision 5c collets are
available in both inch and metric sizes. Collets in round sizes are
1/16" to 1-1/16" in 1/64" increments, or 3mm to 26mm in 1mm increments;
5c square and hex collet sizes are 1/8" to 11/16" in 1/16" increments.
5c collet specs are listed below. These collets can be used with
Dunham Tools standard 5c collet fixture and spindles as well as other
manufacturers’ r8 and 5c fixtures. The standard hardened and ground 5c
and r8 collets (contracting style) are manufactured with the same high
quality standards built into all Dunham Tool products.
Dunham can also supply a new adjustable collet / workpiece stop with
these collets and collet stops are available, either as an attachment to
the Dunham Tool collet or the Dunham air collet closer.
5c collets can be used in all Dunham 5c collet chucks, air collet
chucks, precision spindles and collet actuators. These collets can also
be used in any other manufacturers' 5c collet fixtures, 5c spindles,
etc. Dunham Tool collets are designed for precision workholding
applications that require holding a workpiece on an outside diameter.
These collets are typically used with either hydraulic or pneumatic
actuators and represent a low cost, accurate and fast workholding method
for lathes, grinders, machining centers, milling machines, etc. |
